French Peas

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 2 , cut into 0.5-inch pieces and cooked
  Green onions 2 , sliced
  Finely shredded lettuce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 Teaspoon
  Canned chicken broth 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Canned peas 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can Of 16 Ounce)
  Canned water chestnuts 6 Ounce, sliced (1 Can Of 6 Ounce)
  Seasoned salt To Taste
Directions

Add onion to cooked bacon; cook until tender.
Add lettuce; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in flour.
Add chicken broth; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add peas and water chestnuts; mix lightly and heat.
Season to taste with seasoned salt.
