Creme De Menthe Pie

Ingredients
  Chocolate wafer crumbs 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 3 Tablespoon, melted
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Eggs 3 , separated
  Cr me de menthe 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Strong coffee 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cooled
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped
Directions

Rub butter into wafers - press into 9" pie plate and bake for 8 minutes at 375°.
Using a medium saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over cold water.
Add sugar, salt and well beaten egg yolks.
Cook until thick; then stir in creme de menthe and coffee.
Refrigerate until thickened.
Beat egg whites and add 1/4 cup sugar.
Beat well.
Whip the cream, blend all together and pour into cooled pie shell.
Garnish with pecans and refrigerate.
