Low Calorie French Dressing
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ketchup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Monosodium glutamate||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine the cornstarch and water in a saucepan.
Bring to boiling over high heat.
Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes, or until mixture is thick and clear.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Add to cooled mixture the lemon juice, ketchup, oil, Worcestershire sauce, sweetener, and a blend of remaining ingredients.
Beat with a rotary beater until smooth and well blended.
Store, covered, in refrigerator.
Shake well before using.
