Guy Off The Hook is a food show aired on Food Network. The show hosted by Guy Fieri debuted on the television channel in 2008. The host involves the audience while engaged in cooking. It is is quite similar in format to Paula’s Party and Emeril Live as well.

 

The type of food showcased on the series is typically Californian in nature and closely resembles the dishes that the host favors in his other show, Guy’s Big Bite.

 

It was telecast on Sunday afternoons originally. The show ended after completing six episodes and is currently enjoying a rerun on Food Network.

The show lasting one season had the famous Chef Guy Fieri demonstrating how to prepare food in the Californian style. Taped before a huge studio audience, the host often engaged the viewers in discussions during the course of the show. The show was filmed at a studio located above the Chelsea Market of NYC. The audience was permitted to sit close to the host and could get a first hand look at the culinary skills of Fieri.
