Uncooked Fondant

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened (No Substitute, Softened To Room Temperature)
  Light corn syrup 2 Tablespoon
  Heavy cream 3 Tablespoon
  Confectioners sugar 1 Pound, sifted (1 Box)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream butter with corn syrup and heavy cream until smooth; slowly add sugar, a little at a time, beating well after each addition and kneading in the last bit if necessary.
Work in vanilla.
Roll into 1" balls or use to stuff pitted dates, prunes, or dried apricots or to sandwich together large pecan or walnut halves.
