|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Food coloring||3 Drop (For Amount And Color)|
|Almond flavoring||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Gold medal flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Cream butter, sugar, food coloring, and flavoring.
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Stir in flour; mix thoroughly.
Shape as directed (right).
For most cookies, use 2 level tsp.dough to form cookies.
Place cookies on ungreased baking sheet.
Chill 30 min.
Heat oven to 300° (slow).
Bake about 30 min. (depending on size and thickness of cooky), or until done but not brown
