|Marzipan||1⁄4 Pound (Ready Made, Good Quality)|
|Semi sweet chocolate||1⁄2 Pound (Good Quality)|
|Flaked almonds/Candied violets/sugar flowers||1 Tablespoon|
1 Work the marzipan until pliable using your hands. Shape into small balls and small cigar shapes.
2 Place the chocolate in a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) mixing bowl and microwave on power 3 for 6-7 minutes, stirring once. Beat until smooth.
3 Put a small amount of chocolate on the end of a round bladed knife or palette knife. Position one piece of shaped marzipan on the chocolate, which will hold it in place. Spoon over the melted chocolate, to coat.
4 Leave on dinner plate to set and repeat until all the shapes have been coated.
