Baked Flounder With Lemon-Mushroom Sauce
|Frozen flounder fillets||2 Pound (Thawed)|
|Cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Buttered bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Arrange flounder in greased shallow baking dish.
Combine cream of mushroom soup with cream in saucepan; blend well.
Add mushrooms, onion, lemon juice, paprika, bay leaf, salt, oregano, pepper and sherry.
Simmer, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
Pour sauce over flounder; top with crumbs.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
