Monkfish

Monkfish, headfish or goosefish are the common names of this sea fish found in North America and most Atlantic coasts. Monkfish caught for consumption are generally up to 3 feet in length. Monkfish are on the list of fish that should be avoided due to sustainability issues. Monkfish are curried, baked, roasted, stewed, broiled, stuffed made into kebabs and casseroles.
