Deep Fried Fish

Deep fried fish is any preparation of fish which is deep fried. Commonly, the fish is covered in batter, or flour, or herbs and spices before being deep fried in oil. Generally olive oil, canola, vegetable or peanut oils works well for frying fish by adding a nice flavor. Fish is deep fried in many countries, and deep fried fish forms an important food in many cuisines around the world. Deep fried fish can be eaten as an appetizer or main dish with salads and sauce accompaniments. A tartar or cocktail sauce, lemon wedges and malt vinegar goes perfectly with the crispy deep fried fish.
