|Carrot||1⁄2 , sliced|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dijonnaise sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Preheat the oven to 350Â° F 10 minutes before the fish is ready to be baked.
Combine the water, onion, carrot, salt, white pepper, wine, bay leaf, and thyme in a roasting pan.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Add the fish fillets in 1 layer.
Simmer for 6 minutes or just until cooked.
Do not let the water boil.
Carefully remove the fillets to a baking sheet lined with a cloth towel.
Place the fillets on a heatproof platter.
Spread each one with Dijonnaise Sauce.
Bake at 350Â° F for 10 minutes.
Brown quickly under the broiler.
