Turban Of Fish
|Ingrdients to be chopped finely|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Capsicum||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), crushed|
|Shredded stale bread||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lime||1 , juiced|
|Fish fillets||400 Gram, salted and kept for 20 minutes and then washed (Preferably Pomfret)|
|Hot tomato sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Cucumber slice||4 (For Garnish)|
|Lime slice||4 (For Garnish)|
To prepare the stuffing, cover and microwave butter, chopped ingredients and garlic in a bowl for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Let it stand for 10 minutes.
Then mix in the bread, lime juice, salt and pepper.
Line a round buttered bowl, with the fish fillets.
Pat the stuffing in the middle of the bowl and press it down.
Cover with a microwave plastic wrap.
Place the bowl in a shallow dish of hot water.
Microwave for 20 minutes (the centre should be firm, or else microwave for another 5 minutes).
Let it stand 5 minutes then invert the bowl on a serving platter and pour hot tomato sauce over it.
Garnish with cucumber and lime slices.
