Florentine Plaice (Flounder) Fillets
|Frozen chopped spinach||6 Ounce|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Frozen plaice fillets||8 Ounce|
|Instant cheese sauce||5 Ounce|
|Double cream||1 Tablespoon|
|Cheddar cheese||1 1⁄2 Ounce, grated|
Heat the oven to 350 F (Gas Mark 4, 180Â°C).
Butter a shallow baking dish and place the spinach in it.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Arrange the fish fillets on top of the spinach and season again.
Make up the cheese sauce according to the instructions on the packet and add a few good gratings of nutmeg.
Pour the sauce over the fish and sprinkle the grated cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
Dot with flecks of butter and bake on the top shelf of the oven for 20 minutes.
