|Mackerel /Herring||2 Pound|
|Vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Mixed pickling spices||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Fillet and skin fish; cut into 6 pieces.
Put fish into a baking dish.
Add vinegar, onion, spices, salt, and water.
Bake at 350Â°F 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
