Pour water (1 1/2 inches) into large skillet; add onion, lemon slices, parsley, bay leaf, salt and peppercorns and heat to boiling.
Arrange fish in single layer in skillet.
Cover tightly; simmer 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
