|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Vegetable shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (medium)|
|Cold water||3 Tablespoon|
Combine flour and salt, cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Stir in Cheddar cheese.
Sprinkle cold water (1 tablespoon at a time) evenly over surface, stir with a fork until all ingredients are moistened.
Shape into a ball.
