Fish Fillets India
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Curry powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Fish fillets||1 Pound, frozen (or fresh, of your choice)|
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Blanched almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Mix flour, curry powder, and salt well.
Thoroughly coat each piece of fish with this mixture.
Heat margarine in a large skillet.
Brown the fish over moderate heat, about 4 minutes per side.
When fish flakes easily, it is done through.
Remove fillets; put them on a heated serving dish.
Add almonds to shortening left in skillet; stir until nuts are browned.
Pour over fish.
Serve the chutney as a relish.
