Finnan Haddie Casserole
|Smoked haddock||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Wide egg noodles||100 Gram|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Frozen peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Buttered bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Poach haddock in liquid to cover for 15 minutes.
Drain haddock carefully; reserve liquid.
Remove bones from haddock; flake into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare noodles according to package directions; drain well.
Combine noodles, milk and soup in cas- serole; blend well.
Fold in haddock; add reserved liquid to desired consistency.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; stir in peas.
Season with salt and pepper; top with crumbs.
Bake for 20 minutes longer.
