"Combine bouillon and lemon juice; bring to a boil.
Add roe; simmer for 5 minutes.
Drain roe; discard liquid.
Rinse roe in cold water; remove center vein.
Cook bacon over low heat; drain on paper towels.
Drain off fat from pan; reserve 2 tablespoons.
Add butter to reserved fat in skillet; saute roe over low heat for about 15 minutes, turning to brown.
Remove to hot platter.
Add almonds to skillet; stir over high heat just to heat through.
Pour almonds and butter over the roe; serve with lemon wedges and strips of bacon."
