Baked Herring

Ingredients
  Kosher salt To Taste
  Herring fillets 4
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salted butter 4 Tablespoon (Unkosher)
  Onions 3 , sliced
Directions

MAKING
1) In a shallow dish, soak the herring with water overnight
2) Take care to change the water once
3) Drain the water and keep the fish aside
4) In a shallow dish, pour in the milk and dip the fish into it, reserving some milk
5) In a baking dish, melt the 2 tablespoons of the butter
6) Place the herring fillets into the dish
7) Layer the sliced onions and dot with remaining butter
8) Pour in the reserved milk
9) Bake for 30 minutes at 375 F

SERVING
10) Serve hot
