Plaice Bonne Femme

Ingredients
  Plaice fillets 6 Ounce (2 Fillets Of 3 Ounce / 75 Grams Each)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Onion 1 Ounce (25 Grams)
  Skimmed milk 1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter)
  Dry white wine 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Button mushrooms 1 Ounce (25 Grams)
  Chicken stock cube 1⁄2
  Corn flour 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
2. Into a casserole, place plaice and season it lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Finely dice onion.

MAKING
4. Into a saucepan, mix onion, milk and wine; bring to a boil.
5. Add mushrooms; cover pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Crumble and add stock cube; stir well.

FINALISING
7. Into the casserole, pour sauce over the fish and using a foil or lid, seal the dish tightly.
8. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
9. Remove fish to a dish and keep warm.
10. Into a saucepan, pour remaining cooking liquid; bring to a boil.
11. In a cup, mix corn flour in little cold water; stir into the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

SERVING
12. Stir and pour sauce over fish.
13. Serve immediately.
