Broiled Shad Roe
|Shad roe||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Boiling water||1 Quart|
|Melted butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
Wash shad roe.
Place in boiling water and vinegar and simmer about 10 minutes.
Place shad roe on broil and serve platter or lined broiling pan.
Brush with butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
Broil 2 inches from heat, turn and broil 3 to 4 minutes longer.
