Baked Spiced Fish
|Special oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Fillets of sole, flounder||4|
|Thinly sliced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Skim milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a baking dish; arrange the fillets in it.
Bake in a 350° oven 10 minutes.
Prepare the sauce in the meantime.
Heat the remaining oil in a skillet; saute the onions and celery 10 minutes.
Mix in the salt, pepper, curry powder and flour.
Add the milk, stirring steadily to the boiling point.
Pour over the fish.
Bake 25 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily.
