Sardines In Casserole

Ingredients
  Sardines 2 Can (20 oz) (2 Tins)
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Yellow onions 2 Large, peeled and chopped
  Canned roasted red peppers 4 Ounce, cut in strips (1 Small Can)
  Salt To Taste (If Needed)
Directions

Rinse sardines under warm water.
Drain.
Pour half the olive oil into a small casserole and layer in the onions.
Cover the onions with the sardines and top the sardines with the red peppers.
Add just a touch of salt and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
This is served with fresh French bread that one may dip into the oil.
