Sardines In Casserole
|Sardines||2 Can (20 oz) (2 Tins)|
|Olive oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Yellow onions||2 Large, peeled and chopped|
|Canned roasted red peppers||4 Ounce, cut in strips (1 Small Can)|
|Salt||To Taste (If Needed)|
Rinse sardines under warm water.
Pour half the olive oil into a small casserole and layer in the onions.
Cover the onions with the sardines and top the sardines with the red peppers.
Add just a touch of salt and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
This is served with fresh French bread that one may dip into the oil.
