Halibut Steaks Poached In Wine
|Dry white wine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Microwave the fish to thaw it.
2. Take an 8-inch square or a 2-quart glass baking dish and arrange the halibut steaks over it.
3. Take a 2-cup glass measuring cup and add white wine, water, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dry mustard, marjoram, salt and pepper in it and sprinkle it over halibut. Use waxed paper to cover the dish.
4. Microwave it at High for about 6 - 8 minutes at High until the fish flakes comes out easily when poked with a fork.
5. Serve as required.
