Miso Braised Mackerel

Ingredients
  Mackerel 3⁄4 Pound
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sake 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mirin 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Miso 4 Tablespoon
  Ginger 1 , shredded
Directions

MAKING
1) In a strainer lay the fillets and pour over boiling water.
2) In a pan with water, add sake then submerge the fillets and cook over medium heat until boiling; when the fillets are almost half cooked, add mirin, sugar and miso stirred in a little broth.
3) Reduce the heat and cook for further 7-8 min, or until the fish is fully cooked and with a thick broth.

SERVING
4) Garnish with ginger shreds and serve on individual dishes.
