Sweet Sour Barbecued Fish
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Fish steaks||1 Pound|
1)Pre-heat the broiling compartment of a grill.
2)In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, salad oil, salt, pepper, grated onion, mustard and brown sugar. 3)Stir till the sugar is totally dissolved.
4)On a heat proof broiler platter, line the fish steaks. Pour the sauce over them.
5)Place the steaks about 2 inches from the heat inside the broiler compartment.
6)Broil for 3 minutes. Turn over and broil for 5 more minutes or until the fish is flaky when a fork is used.
7)Baste often while broiling.
8)Remove the fillets from the broiler and serve hot.
