Baked Fish In Parchment
|Fish fillets||2 Pound|
|Thin boiled ham slices||6|
|Summer savory||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Melted butter/Margarine / oil||2 Tablespoon|
1. Start oven, set at Hot, 425° F. Rub a baking pan with margarine or shortening.
2. Wipe the fillets with a clean, damp cloth and cut them into 6 serving pieces. Arrange each piece of fish on a slice of ham. Sprinkle the fish with a little salt, pepper and summer savory. Have ready 6 pieces of cooking parchment large enough to wrap the fish and ham and to fold over tightly. Fold parchment edges together, doubling them under.
3. Place the 6 parchment cases in the baking pan. Brush each with melted butter or margarine. Bake 10 to 15 minutes; after 7 minutes brush the cases once more with melted butter or margarine. Remove them to a warmed serving platter in the paper cases, cut crisscross in the top of each and serve.
