Salmon Steaks with Peppers
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch strips|
|Yellow pepper||1 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch strips|
|Red pepper||1 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch strips|
|Salmon steaks||32 Ounce (About 1 Inch Thick)|
Place butter in 10-inch square casserole.
Microwave at High for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until butter melts.
Stir in lemon juice, onion salt and Italian seasoning.
Toss green, yellow and red pepper strips in butter mixture.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at High for 4 to 6 minutes, or until peppers are tender-crisp, stirring once.
Arrange salmon steaks in casserole with thickest portions toward outside of casserole.
Spoon peppers and cooking liquid over salmon.
Microwave at 70% (Medium High) for 14 to 18 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork, rotating casserole and basting with cooking liquid once or twice.
