Baked Finnan Haddie

|Warm water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
1. Place the finnan haddie in a saucepan. Pour the water and milk over it, heat gently. It should not simmer but stand over low heat 25 minutes. Pour off the liquid.
2. Start oven, set at Moderate, 350° F. Rub a shallow pan with margarine. Lay the drained fish in the pan. Spread it with butter and sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Bake 25 minutes.
