Oven Fried Fish Steaks
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Heat oven to 500°F.
2. If steaks are frozen, thaw on shelf of refrigerator or at room temperature.
3. Combine milk with salt and pepper. Spread bread crumbs on waxed paper. Dip steaks in milk then in crumbs. Place in a buttered shallow baking dish. Drizzle melted butter on top of steaks.
4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
