|Butter/Margarine / fat / salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Green peppers/Dill pickle||2 Tablespoon, minced seeded|
|Medium white sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot One)|
|Bottled thick meat sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Flaked fish||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Cooked / Canned)|
|Processed american cheddar cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), grated|
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt the butter in a skillet; add onion and green pepper, and saute until tender, stirring occasionally.
Then add to the white sauce with meat sauce.
Alternate layers of fish and white sauce mixture in a 1 qt greased or oiled casserole or ramekins, or scallop shells.
Top with combined cheese and crumbs.
Bake in a moderately hot oven of 400°F for 20 min or until crumbs are brown.
