Fish Goa Style

Ingredients
  Pomfret/Any firm white fish 1 Kilogram
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Green cardamoms 4
  Cloves 3
  Black peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Dry red chilies 15
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander seeds 2 Tablespoon, soaked for 10 minutes in vinegar
  Non synthetic vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onions 2 Large, chopped
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar free sweetener tablet 2 , powdered
Directions

Fillet fish or slice through the bone, as preferred.
Wash and drain thoroughly.
Sprinkle with salt and set aside for 15 minutes.
Rub ground spices into fish and leave in a cool place to marinate for 3-4 hours.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over moderate heat.
Add fish and fry for about 5 minutes, turning gently once only, till cooked through and crisp.
Serve hot with roti.
