Spiced Fish

Ingredients
  Fish fillets 1 Pound (500 Grams)
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced in rings
  Peppercorns 4 , bruised
  Cloves 3
  Mixed herbs 1 Teaspoon
  Chili 1 Small, chopped
  Spice 1 Pinch
  Ginger 1 Pinch
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon wedges 4
Directions

Wash, dry and trim fish fillets and arrange in a shallow, ovenproof casserole, add all ingredients except parsley and lemon wedges.
Cover tightly with foil and cook in a moderate oven for 10-12 minutes.
Remove dish from oven and allow to cool.
Lift fish out on to a serving dish, strain liquid over and chill.
