Easy Poached Salmon Steaks

Ingredients
  Salmon steaks 2 Pound (4 Medium Size, Each About 1 Inch Thick)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Fresh dill sprigs 4
  Lemon slices 4
  Black peppercorns 5
  Dry white wine/Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Mustard dill sauce/Creamy cucumber sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

1. Pat salmon steaks dry. Arrange fish, thickest parts to outside edges, in rectangular dish, 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inches; sprinkle with salt. Place dill weed sprig and lemon slice on each. Add peppercorns; pour wine over fish.
2. Cover tightly and microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 4 minutes, until fish flakes easily with fork. Let stand covered 3 minutes; drain. Serve hot with Mustard-Dill Sauce. Or cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled. Serve cold with Creamy Cucumber Sauce.
