|Sardines||8 Large, scaled, gutted and cleaned|
|White breadcrumbs||2 Ounce (50 Grams)|
|Cheddar cheese||1 Ounce, grated (25 Gram)|
|Lemon/Lime juice||1 (For Garnish)|
Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5.
Arrange the sardines with their heads and tails alternating, along a shallow ovenproof dish.
Pour over the Tomato and Onion Cook-in-Sauce.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and cheese down the centre of the dish.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the fish is cooked.
Meanwhile, bring a small saucepan of lightly salted water to the boil.
Add the peas and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the fish from the oven and fill the eye holes with peas.
Slice the lemon or lime.
Serve the fish garnished with lemon or lime slices.
