Nuoc Cham

Ingredients
  Sugar 5 Teaspoon
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Dried hot chilies/2 fresh chilies 4
  Lime 1⁄4 , juice and pulp extracted
  Water 5 Tablespoon
  Fish sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Nuoc Mam)
Directions

Combine sugar, garlic and chilies in mortar and pound into paste (or mash with back of spoon in mixing bowl).
Add lime juice and pulp and continue blending until well mixed.
Add water and fish sauce and mix thoroughly.
