Block Island Baked Swordfish
|Swordfish slices||1 (2 Inches Thick)|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Medium, minced|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon||1 , quartered|
Wipe fish with damp cloth and put in greased shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Arrange onion slices on fish.
Sprinkle with green pepper.
Dot with butter and add the water.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork.
Several times during baking, baste with liquid in pan.
