Sashimi With Soy Sauce
|Firm fish||1 Pound (Fresh Ones)|
|Wasabi||2 Teaspoon, mixed to a paste with 2 tsp. water (Green Horseradish)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Wash the fillets and sprinkle them lightly with salt.
Cover and put into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Remove the fish from the refrigerator and cut crosswise into bite-sized pieces.
Arrange the pieces either on one large serving dish or on individual dishes.
To make the sauce, mix the horseradish into the soy sauce, then pour the mixture into individual dipping bowls.
The fish should be dipped in the sauce before eating.
