Fried Fish With Almonds

Ingredients
  Sole fillets 3
  Grated onion 2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Sherry 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Ground almonds 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Ham slice 3 , cut into 2 inch strips
Directions

Cut fillets in half lengthwise and then cross wise, making 4 pieces.
Mix together the onion, ginger, salt, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry, and egg.
Dip fish in the mixture.
Dip one side of fish in almonds.
Roll each fillet around 1 slice of ham.
Deep fry fish until browned.
