Ahi In Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  Ahi/Halibut / white sea bass fillet 2 1⁄4 Pound
  Lime/1 1/2 cup bottled lime juice 25
  Coconut milk 2 Quart
  Peel of cucumber 1 , finely chopped
  Carrot 1 Small, grated
  Salt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped green onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Romaine lettuce leaves 4
Directions

Dice Ahi into 1/4 inch cubes, add salt.
Add water to cover fish and let stand while squeezing limes.
Then add juice to fish and water and let marinate, at least overnight in refrigerator.
The lime juice "cooks" the fish, taking away the raw flavor.
Combine coconut milk and remaining ingredients, chill.
A half hour before serving, drain fish and combine with coconut milk mixture and place in refrigerator.
Serve chilled in individual serving bowls lined with romaine.
Garnish with finely chopped hard cooked eggs.
