Deep Fried Fish Sticks
|Oil||5 Milliliter (1 tsp)|
|Paprika||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 ml)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 ml)|
|Milk||125 Milliliter (1/2 cup)|
|Flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (180 ml)|
|Soda biscuits/Corn flakes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), crumbled (125 ml)|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon (5ml)|
|Frozen fish sticks||450 Gram|
– In a deep-fryer, heat oil to 400 °F (205 °C).
– In a bowl, combine oil, paprika, baking powder, egg and milk. Add flour, soda biscuits or corn flakes, and salt. Stir.
– Coat fish sticks with this mixture, then drop into deep-fryer and fry until golden. Drain well and serve with tar-tare sauce.
