Grilled Salmon Steaks
|Salmon steaks||8 (3/4 Inch Thick)|
|Dry vermouth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Olive oil/Salad oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||1 Dash|
1. Place the salmon steaks in a large pan. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the top. Allow to stand three to four hours, turning once.
2. Preheat broiler. Remove the steaks from the marinade, reserving the marinade. Place the fish on greased broiler rack and broil until brown. Turn carefully and brown on the other side. Cook until fork tender, or about fifteen minutes, brushing frequently with the reserved marinade.
