Pan Fried Whiting
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White cornmeal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Sprinkle inside of the fish with salt and pepper. Dip in the milk, and then roll in the cornmeal.
2. Heat the shortening in a skillet and fry the fish in it until brown on one side. Sprinkle with the rosemary, turn carefully and cook until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
