Broiled Salmon Steaks With Radish Yogurt
|Low fat plain yogurt||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green onions||3 , chopped fine|
|Radishes||1 Bunch (100 gm), trimmed and chopped|
|Prepared horseradish||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground cumin||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Salmon steaks/Swordfish/halibut steaks||4|
Preheat the broiler and lightly grease the broiler pan rack.
In a medium size bowl, combine the yogurt, green onions, radishes, horseradish, cumin, and 1/8 teaspoon of the pepper; mix well and set aside.
Combine the lemon juice, olive oil, and remaining pepper and brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon steaks.
Place the steaks on the broiler pan rack and broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until the salmon is opaque when cut near the center.
