Steamed Fish With Subgum Ginger

If you are planning to try out something different with fish you can very well check out this Steamed Fish With Subgum Ginger recipe. I was a bit skeptical about the ginger flavor in this Steamed Fish With Subgum Ginger dish, but it did turn out awesome. A nice dish to make!
Ingredients
  Fish 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Subgum ginger 4 Tablespoon
  Smoked ham 1 Tablespoon
  Scallion stalks 2
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Peanut oil 3 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Have fish cleaned and scaled but left whole. Wash and dry. Steam as in Basic Steamed Fish (but without any topping). Drain well and sprinkle with salt and soy sauce.
2. Meanwhile mince subgum ginger and smoked ham; split scallion stalks lengthwise in 4 or 5 long strips and then cut crosswise in 2-inch sections. Sprinkle ingredients over fish.
3. Crush garlic and place in a pan with oil. Heat until oil begins to smoke.
Remove from heat and let stand 1 minute. Discard garlic and pour oil over fish
