1. Season fish with salt and pepper and place on greased foil in a shallow pan. Brush half the butter over the fish and sprinkle lightly with flour.
2. Broil three to five inches from the source of heat in a preheated broiler for three minutes. Turn, brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle lightly with flour and paprika to give a light crust. Continue broiling until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, about six minutes in all.
