Fish Steaks With Pear Jardiniere
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Onion slices||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Julienned carrot strips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|California bartlett pears||2 , cored and quartered|
|Firm fish fillets||1 1⁄2 Pound (Such As Sea Bass Haddock /Salmon)|
|Tomatoes||2 , sliced|
|Lemon||1 , thinly sliced|
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
Add onion and carrots; stir to mix well.
Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes.
Mix mustard, basil and dill weed in small bowl; add pears.
Toss to coat.
Add fish, pear mixture, tomatoes and lemon to skillet.
Cover; cook 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
