Outdoor Fish Bake With Lemon

Outdoor fish bake with lemon is a fish steak recipe that can be prepared with a fish of choice. flavored with garlic and lemon, the outdoor fish bake is cooked on the grill and best served with a light potato salad.
  Fish steaks/Fillets 6 (3/4 To 1 Inch Thick)
  Lemons 3 , thinly sliced
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Sprinkle fish generously with salt and pepper.
Arrange half of lemon slices in bottom of shallow baking dish; add fish in single layer.
Place remaining lemon slices atop and around sides.
Combine butter and garlic; pour over fish (and baste with it later).
Add hickory to slow coals.
Place baking dish on heavy duty foil atop grill.
Close smoker hood; cook slowly, about 1 hour, turning once.
Baste frequently.
