Fish Turnovers Monte Cristo
|Cooked fish||2 Ounce|
Beat egg; reserve half.
Combine remaining half with fish, salt, pepper and oregano; mash to a paste.
Cut bread horizontally into twofers.
Flatten with rolling pin.
Place half of fish mixture in center of each, fold bread over to form triangle, and fasten edges with toothpicks.
Dip both sides of turnovers in reserved half egg.
Transfer to non-stick baking sheet (or sheet lined with aluminum foil); bake at 375Â° F., turning once to brown both sides.
